I LOVE the way the patio lights shine into our family room. It creates such a magical atmosphere. I would’ve been soo astonished if I were a kid… maybe that’s why my inner child feels so free in this space!
It’s the little details that make the biggest impact ^_^ I climbed onto my kitchen island and tied velvet ribbons to each pendant light, and now they look like Christmas bells! I also glued mini Christmas houses from last' year’s decor onto my wreath. The result is so stinkin’ cute!
Speaking of cuteness, look at this little sugar bear ^_^ He was with me throughout this entire process. He looks just like the ice bear behind him!
Here’s a look at the entire living room space. The beams really do add a cozy cabin feel to the whole space. So grateful our contractors volunteered to encase the beams in dry wall! I prefer this more modern look to the space than the original exposed beams we had before.
This is the other side of the living room :) The Norfolk pine garland was a good call after all! I think it frames the doorway well and adds a nice distinction between the two spaces.
I opted for a simple woodland look for our fireplace mantle this year. With all of the other things going on in the space, it’s nice to have a calming place to rest your eyes.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this COMPREHENSIVE gift guide and inspo blog! Most of my decor were repurposed from last year’s design, which makes me very happy! You don’t have to buy new things every year to get a different look :)

“There were humbling, hard earned experiences she talks about that I heavily resonate with and helps me in my own walk with Christ. Specifically towards the end, where she talks about living a redeemed life from suffering means we get to obtain wisdom from joy as well! How wonderful!”
